چکیده

We present a detailed spectral and temporal analysis of the black-hole candidate MAXI~J1535$-$571 using NICER observations in September October 2017. focus specifically on hard-intermediate state when source shows type-C quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs). fitted time-averaged spectrum rms phase-lag spectra QPO with one-component time-dependent Comptonization model. found that corona contracts from $\sim 10^4$ to 3 \times 10^3$ km as frequency increases 1.8$ Hz 9.0$ Hz. The fits suggest system would consists two coronas, small one dominates larger one, possibly jet, lag QPO. significant break relation parameters properties QPO, including its spectra, frequency. change relations happens crosses critical $\nu_c \approx 3.0$ Interestingly, reaches this simultaneously radio emission jet is quenched.

Low Frequency Quasi-periodic Oscillations in Low Mass X-ray Binaries and Galactic Black Hole Candidates

We consider the inner regions of accretion disks surrounding black holes and neutron stars and investigate the nonlinear time dependent evolution of thermal-viscous instabilities. The viscous stress is assumed to be proportional to the gas pressure with the viscosity parameter formulated as α = min[α0(h/r) , αmax], where h is the local scale height, r is the distance from the central compact ob...

Quasi-periodic oscillations and noise in neutron star and black-hole X-ray binaries

Before the launch of the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE) satellite, the differences in the rapid X-ray variability between the two main types of neutron star binaries (i.e., the Z and atoll sources) could be explained by invoking different mass accretion rates and magnetic field strengths. However, the results obtained with RXTE now show that these systems are more similar than previously th...

Tomographic reflection modelling of quasi - periodic oscillations in the black hole binary H 1743 – 322

Accreting stellar mass black holes (BHs) routinely exhibit Type-C quasi-periodic oscillations (QPOs). These are often interpreted as Lense-Thirring precession of the inner accretion flow, a relativistic effect whereby the spin of the BH distorts the surrounding space-time, inducing nodal precession. The best evidence for the precession model is the recent discovery, using a long joint XMM-Newto...

Black hole X-ray binary jets

Relativistic jets powered by stellar mass black holes in X-ray binaries appear to come in two types: steady outflows associated with hard X-ray states and large scale discrete ejections associated with transient outbursts. We show that the broadband radio spectrum of a ‘quiescent’ stellar mass black hole closely resembles that of canonical hard state sources emitting at four orders of magnitude...
